Emerson has an exciting Engineering Internship opportunity for you located in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Expand your technical and professional skills in a real world setting. Emerson Interns are given meaningful work, support, and mentorship from experienced managers and key business leaders. You will perform basic and routine assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out a sequence of related engineering tasks and activities.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Participate in the Engineering development process.
- Collaborate with your team to meet project objectives and achievements.
- Participate in Engineering development rhythms and cadences, such as Agile and PI.
- Assist in resolving technical design and calculation criteria.
- Research and compile appropriate background information for the project, including past designs, materials specifications, and governing code requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Experience and curiosity about Engineering hardware and software development
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Familiarity with working with hardware
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaborative skills
- Keen attention to detail, proven leadership skills

In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the hourly rate is $25.00 commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
