The Opportunity:

As a Cyber Warfare Engineer, you know how to create and maintain cru cia l pieces of sof tware. You use your knowledge to write and optimize code that creates a bridge between pieces of sof tware, allowing them to communicate. We're looking for an experienced embedded sof tware engineer like you to develop technology for our clients' most important mission-forward challenges.

As an embedded sof tware engineer at Booz Allen, you'll support the development of systems, sites, and tools for our clients. Using the latest tools and technology, you'll write, test, and edit code in support of the team's overall results. You'll expand your skills as you develop and reverse engineer sof tware that supports hardware functionality on a wide range of devices, as well as configure solutions based on the platform being used. You'll work with other team leaders to troubleshoot and correct operational issues, as well as with cybersecurity spe cia lists to ensure that the sof tware you're creating is secure.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience in sof tware engineering, Computer Network Exploitation ( CNE ) , Offensive Cyberspace Operations ( OCO ) , or Defensive Cyberspace Operations ( DCO )
• Experience with Agile practices and tools, including Git and ticketing systems
• Experience with Linux kernel development and debugging
• Knowledge of complex sof tware integrations, including multi-process and multi-system
• Knowledge of complex computer networking, including iptables, VLANs, and ICMP
• Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL or NoSQL
• Ability to write, compile, and debug low-level LLVM compliant languages such as C and C++
• Ability to write and debug Python and BASH Scripts
• TS / SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience with the federal government, including DoD and IC cyber operations
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Master's degree

• If this position is listed as remote or hybrid, you'll periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
• If this position is listed as onsite, you'll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the specific role.
