Job description

Job Summary:
Resolve technical problems regarding maintenance operations and provide recommendations on improving equipment and facility operating efficiencies. Assist with upkeep and allocation of all aspects of our physical facilities and resources.

Summary of Duties:
• Install conduit for newly installed machines and using hand tools
• Trouble shoot and repair/replace mechanical equipment.
• Assist with retrofitting outdated lighting throughout the building.
• Assist with maintaining HVAC/RTAC units.
• Assist with repairing HVAC/RTAC units and Air Handler units on roof top
• Assist with repair and replace VAV box heaters, motors, and controls
• Set-up of various types of production equipment (including: DMS & Thermwood CNC machine, Oil heaters, Dust collection system, Presses, etc.)
• Perform equipment and building maintenance PM's.
• Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment
• Assist with all types of building maintenance
• Welding & Fabrication (Level 2)
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machine and equipment (Level 2)
Working Conditions:
1. Does require fluent communication in English language
2. Employment Status may be part-time, full-time, or temporary
3. Traveling may be required
4. Protracted or irregular hours may be required
5. Relocation to another Safran facility may be required
6. Standard workweek often exceeds 40 hours/week

Candidate skills & requirements

Level 3 Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 5- 7 years.
Computer Skill:
• Proficient with Windows Operating System
• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
• Requires significant experience within discipline and thorough working knowledge of subject matter
• Handles complex issues, escalates only the most complex issues to higher staff level
• Accountability - takes responsibility for own actions and results
• Collaboration - Establishes collaborative relationships to achieve objectives
