Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team with the development, assembly, and testing of prototype products and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist Engineering with the development, assembly, and testing of prototype products and production equipment.
- Perform machine refurbishment and testing to support manufacturing.
- Safely handle chemicals using prescribed PPE.
- Maintain accurate records and data of engineering studies, tests, and drawings.
- Identify and document deviations in performance not anticipated in test procedures.
- Assist in writing procedures and work instructions for machines and processes.
- Develop process control plans, PFMEAs, and flow charts.
- Train production employees on new machines and processes as needed.
- Comply with quality systems procedures and documentation requirements.
- Conduct tests on electrical or electro-mechanical parts for prototypes and competitor products.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in a technical field is a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong math and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Valid driver's license to travel between facilities.
- Working knowledge of gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and various measuring devices.
- Mechanical aptitude.
