We are looking for an experienced Electrical First Line Supervisor / Planner to join our Yerkes site in Buffalo, NY-someone who is energized by leading teams, driving reliability, and making a tangible difference on the plant floor.

Your Impact

As a Electrical First Line Supervisor / Planner, you will play a critical role in maximizing equipment reliability and workforce productivity. You will lead frontline maintenance teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of daily work while driving continuous improvement across the site. You'll connect people, processes, and technology-anticipating challenges, eliminating delays, and ensuring your team has everything needed to succeed.

What You'll Do

• Lead & Develop Talent: Coach and mentor skilled technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance
• Plan & Execute: Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and permits to ensure seamless execution of maintenance work
• Prioritize for Impact: Make real-time decisions to balance safety, reliability, and production needs
• Enhance Safety Culture: Champion and enforce safety programs-ensuring every task is completed safely and responsibly
• Respond & Solve: Lead response to maintenance issues and emergencies with urgency and precision
• Collaborate Broadly: Partner with production teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver innovative solutions and improve reliability

What You Bring

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance or skilled trades
• Associate's degree in an electrical discipline or a minimum of 10 years of manufacturing electrical / controls experience required
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience building and driving preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with SAP or similar systems for maintenance planning and tracking
• Familiarity with tools such as ETQ, Cority, Workday, or similar systems
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
