We are currently looking for an Overhead Cab Crane Operator for our manufacturing facility in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania. Our Cab Crane Operators are part of a highly skilled team that is critical to ensuring large industrial equipment and systems are fully operational for continuous production and to consistently meet production goals.

As part of our Union Production Team, you must be willing to work all shifts in our 24/7 operation. Based on the need, overtime may be available including other shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead bridge cranes to lift, move, and position materials.
• Safely transport molten steel, steel slabs, ingots, steel coils, and other heavy materials within the facility.
• Perform daily crane inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Work closely with production staff to ensure efficient material flow.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Once a conditional job offer is made, the candidate must successfully complete a vision assessment meeting ASME B30.5 standards (20/30 or better in each eye, adequate depth perception, and color discrimination). This assessment is required of all candidates for this position to ensure safe performance of essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of overhead Crane Experience in a heavy industrial environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
• Effective communication skill with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong ability to work independently without direction, and as part of a team
