Production Worker-Pressweld
The Production Worker Junior performs intermediate tasks and assists in the manufacturing process. This role will work across various areas within the pressweld department, including shearing, presswelding, grinding, and finishing, while strictly adhering to safety and procedural guidelines. The production worker should be able to work consistently, quickly, and accurately without compromising quality and production standards.

- Hours: M-F, 6:00 am-2:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Produces the required quantity of parts within the established specifications and tolerances.
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures, including interpreting and translating engineering designs and documentation.
- Operates production equipment in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned tasks may require hand tools, including grinders, polishers, and similar equipment.
- Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring function, quality, and compliance with cosmetic specifications.
- Maintains logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
- Inspects equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly working environment.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to problem-solve and think analytically.
- Read and comprehend simple verbal and written instructions, and can work in a team environment.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Understanding of, and ability to abide by, OSHA and environmental regulations.
Working Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations.
- Employees may be frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Employees may be frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may lift and/or move up to 45 pounds without help.
- Walking and standing on the Plant floor.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.
- One or more years of manufacturing-related experience
