Responsibilities
The Planner Estimator is responsible for planning and estimating highly complex structural, electrical, and mechanical commercial level projects. They will report to the Task Order Manager (TOM) and assist the Service Manager on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities
The Planner Estimator is responsible for planning and estimating highly complex structural, electrical, and mechanical commercial level projects. They will report to the Task Order Manager (TOM) and assist the Service Manager on an as needed basis.
- Gathering data and assisting in preparing bid proposal estimates and design/build proposals.
- Performing take-offs from drawings and pricing change orders
- Understanding plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed and to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Understanding and applying cost fundamentals; maintaining current, accurate information on prices from supplies and contractors.
- Preparing bid packages and obtaining pricing from subcontractors and vendors
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment, materials and specifications
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
- Experience with contract documents such as contract drawings, subcontracts, contract addendum,
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of plans, blueprints, and drawings.
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work
- Generating high quality work
- Working well with others to reach a common goal.

Qualifications
- Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management with 5+ years of experience
- Associate degree in a related field with 8+ years of experience
- High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of relevant experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in planning and estimating structural, electrical and mechanical projects in a large or multiple facility with highly complex mechanical, electrical and structural requirements, and Project Management experience.
- Must be competent in the use of RS-Means.
- Working knowledge of Accubid a plus.
- Working knowledge of BIM a plus.
