Hourly Materials Buyer

Pratt & Whitney - North Berwick Repair Operations (NBRO)

What You will Do

Key Responsibilities

Support inventory management activities

Perform SAP transactions for material purchases and vendor processing

Coordinate material delivery to production areas

Support crib accuracy initiatives and continuous improvement

Maintain organization and cleanliness in materials and storage areas

Follow standard work and established material handling procedures

Support daily operational priorities in a fast-paced environment

Support VMI processes

Customer and Internal PO creation, reviews, and edits

This is a 1st shift , ( 5 x 8) , S4

Qualifications You Must Have

High School Diploma or GED required

1+ year experience in materials, warehouse, or manufacturing environment

Basic computer skills required

Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment

Qualifications We Prefer

MRP and scheduling background

Excellent SAP experience

Aerospace or manufacturing experience

Procurement exposure and experience

Strong attention to detail

Strong organizational skills

Experience in material handling

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
