Essential Job Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have ability to obtain a Security Clearance
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read service manuals and follow directions to repair.
  • Problem solving and self-motivated, and look ahead to plan out work.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail along with patience to see a task to completion.
  • Ability to follow directions to repair damaged or defective glass-fiber parts, checking thicknesses, densities, and contours to ensure a close fit after repair.
  • Select precut fiberglass mats, cloth, and wood-bracing materials as required by parts being produced.
  • Inspect, clean and prepare the molds by applying, buffing and removal of wax, mold sealers and releases as required on the molds and plugs before beginning work.
  • Must be able to read, write and follow instructions, as well as preform basic math.
  • Must be capable of handling chemicals and solvents. Trim excess materials from molds.
  • Must be able work well with other team members.
  • Time management and good communication skills are required.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment.
  • Must be safety conscience.
  • Proof of US Citizenship and/or authorized to work in the US. Due to the nature of our work, United States Citizenship, is required.


Desired / Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Learn, listen, take direction.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Laying up parts with fiberglass to be laminated with resins. (A Plus but not a must)
  • Drive processes.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Preferred 2-3 years of trade skills field. (Carpenter, Mechanic, or Finisher).
  • Knowledge in composite materials and process such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, resin infusion, vacuum bagging, mold creation and destruction.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Desired hobby interests: Team sports, arts and crafts, mechanics, wood working, gardening, building model cars, planes, or ships, small engine repairs and playing instruments.

Essential Physical Requirement:
  • Ability to bend, stoop or climb as necessary to perform required inspections.
  • Ability to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, stand and walk for 10+ hours, work at heights, work in hot or cold environments, work in confined spaces and lift loads of approximately 50 pounds; Be able to lift, push, pull, perform repetitive movements, or occasionally carry heavy objects.
  • Stand; bend, kneel, walk, stoop, crouch, and sit.
  • Use hands and finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Repeat the same movements.
  • Bend and twist body.
  • Ability to wear all assigned personal protective equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, full face respirator, gloves, protective clothing, etc.
  • Vision abilities required are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception ability to adjust focus.
