Receptionist
We are looking for a Receptionist for our Plymouth, MI facility. In this role you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, customers, vendors, and employees at the facility. You will be responsible for managing front office operations, handling incoming/outgoing site communications, providing updates on scheduled events/visits and providing general administrative support for the smooth & efficient operation of the front office area & facility.
Your Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and assisting guest, visitors, employees and/or staff in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with office staff and leadership through frequent touchpoint meetings to better support the smooth execution of operational efforts
- Exercising oversite and ownership of the shared common areas (cafeteria, kitchenette area, conference rooms, prayer room, etc.) and partnering with facility management and/or custodian services in ensuring that these areas are maintained in a clean, organized and appropriate fashion for staff, guests, and visitors
- Actively maintaining inventory control/management and replenishment setpoints of consumable kitchenette items and office supplies
- Assisting staff with scheduling meetings, room reservations and the maintenance of site calendars
- Receiving and responding to phone calls, emails and/or general inquiries to the site in a prompt & professional manner
- Receiving, sorting and forwarding physical mail to recipients
- Managing guest/visitor sign-in procedures and the issuing of badges as required
- Providing administrative support to include filing, shared drive archiving, creating/maintaining excel spreadsheets, monitoring/reporting credit card purchases, and providing other miscellaneous efforts as needed/required
- Supporting HR and management with clerical tasks as needed
- Strict adherence to company safety, security, and confidentiality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Your Profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and friendly, cooperative and helpful demeanor
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and drive for results
