Job Description

The Equipment Coordinator is a key member of the Metrology department and serves as the primary point of contact for calibrated equipment entering and exiting the laboratory. This position is responsible for coordinating the receipt, tracking, processing, and return of Inspection, Measuring, and Test Equipment (IMTE) while ensuring assets are routed efficiently through the calibration process.

The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for scanning equipment due for calibration, assigning assets to the appropriate calibration discipline, and maintaining accurate tracking information throughout the calibration cycle. This role works closely with Metrology technicians, internal customers, and external vendors to ensure timely processing and delivery of calibrated equipment.

This position may require occasional transportation of equipment between the Broomfield and Boulder campuses using company-owned vehicles. We are seeking a motivated candidate interested in developing a long-term career within Metrology. During available downtime, the selected candidate will have opportunities to learn calibration processes, receive technical training, and work toward obtaining an ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification. Successful candidates may have opportunities to advance into a Calibration Technician role in the future.

  • Apply calibration system requirements in accordance with ANSI Z540 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives and identify potential safety concerns.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
