Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Quality Manager with daily quality operations and tasks as assigned.
  • Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure effective communication, accuracy, and product quality throughout the production process.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions, and assist in creating new Work Instructions as required.
  • Assist with the management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and maintain associated records.
  • Support the documentation and tracking of Corrective Actions and maintain training logs.
  • Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) procedures and recordkeeping.
  • Provide backup support to the Data Coordinator and Documentation Specialist, as needed.
  • Maintain gage calibration logs and coordinate calibration activities with outside services.
  • Support quality operations by preparing Quality Alerts and maintaining related documentation.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the ISO quality management system; assist in scheduling and maintaining internal audit schedules, and conduct internal audits as required.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or coursework in quality or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of computers with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and IFS systems.
  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
