Shift - NBP A1_DL (Week 1-SUMT5:24 am-5:35pm;(Week 2-SUMTW 5:24am-5:35pm)
Responsibilities
- Perform wafer fabrication by following work instruction and documented procedures
- Operate equipment to perform various stages of the wafer fabrication process
- Perform measurements and analysis of critical parameters and record data
- Adhere to clean room protocol and work practices, including wearing PPE for long periods of time
- Maintain proper documentation and records
- Move materials or finished good from one location to another; may involve pushing, pulling, or lifting (up to 20 pounds) or bending
- Visually inspect and recognize quality defects
- Handle fragile GaAs wafers and precious metals, such as gold and platinum
- Mix wet chemistries, some of which are hazardous
- Collect and log data into computer-based applications
Required Experience and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Basic mathematical computations and writing tasks
- Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction
- Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination, with the ability to manipulate components of various sizes
- Ability to understand directions and adhere to established procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and to perform repetitive tasks
- Lifts, handles, and reaches to use tools such as pliers, large tweezers, hand-held scanners, etc.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills including MS Office Suite Direct experience and knowledge of overall Wafer FAB operational proficiency (process, tools, flows)
- Dependable team player
Desired Experience and Skills
- Prior semiconductor manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of cleanroom practices and protocols
- Problem solving abilities to troubleshoot
