Paint Department – Laborer

Key Skills for success and promotion include: • Assist with surface prep, masking, taping, rigging, and clean up. • Ensure work areas are maintained in compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. • Familiarity of standard shop hand, power and pneumatic tools. • General Housekeeping and supply organization. • Overtime and Saturdays are expected as workload dictates. Additional Requirements: • Must be able to pass E-Verify, pre-employment drug test and be at least 18 years old. • Must be able to read and write in English and perform basic math skills. • Ability to understand quality standards and adhere to specific written and drawing instructions, along with the ability to understand drawings, plans, and specifications. • Must follow compliance and safety requirements and standards, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) daily. • Able to positively interact with customers and coworkers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs. • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, and occasionally sit, climb or balance. • Must be able to work in outside weather conditions (hot, cold, wet and/or humid). Most job requirements take place in the warehouses, but some duties are outside the buildings and require lifting/moving of 10-25 pounds and occasionally lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. • Ability to obtain security clearance for military base access is a plus, but not required
