Summary of the Role:

You would be responsible for setting up and operating a CNC machine. During your workday you would run various parts, perform minor machine maintenance, clean and deburr parts to ensure quality parts.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick material for the job, document the inventory and document appropriately
  • Use ERP software to record the job for adequate job tracking and costing
  • Set up the CNC machine
  • Run parts per engineering specifications
  • Deburr and partmark as needed
  • Use measuring tools as calipers, micrometers, and height gages to inspect parts for conformity requirements
  • Do minor machine repair and maintenance
  • Keep area clean and adhere to 5S

Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or GED required
  • At least one year of CNC operator experience
  • Skilled in using measurement tools: calipers, micrometers and height gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Able to stand throughout shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
