CNC SWISS MACHINIST (SET-UP LEVEL (1ST SHIFT)

CSI is seeking a motivated Precision Machinist to join our growing team. You will play a key role in producing tight-tolerance components used in mission-critical applications.
This is a hands-on role for someone who:

- Enjoys working with machines and solving mechanical challenges
- Wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced, technical environment
Responsibilities
Print Reading
- Read and Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
Inspection
- Inspect parts to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
Machine Operation/Set-up
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss CNC machines (Tornos, Nakamura and Star machines) including bar feeder
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments. Maintain optimum machine utilization while producing quality parts
- Contribute to continuous improvement in machining efficiency and quality
Team support
- Support the team in day-to-day shop operations
Machine Programing
- Edit program as necessary to ensure operation
- Understand G-function and M codes
- Interpreting program and tool movement
