GTAW & GMAW Welder/Fabricator

Preferred Requirements:

- Weld per Tech Pub 248, 278 & 1688, Navy codes.

- Work within an ISO9001 and NADCAP environment.

- The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing welding experience

- Experience with Electric Boat blueprints and assemblies is a plus.

- Experience with Carbon steel, SS, Monel, HY80, Aluminum.

- Welding training at a technical school or an equivalent program.

Minimum Requirements:

- Read and understand Blueprints - Must be able to fabricate items from blueprints or sketches.

- Manual weld using the GTAW and GMAW processes.

- Possess the ability to learn stud welding, plasma cutting, basic machining and Visual Inspection.

- Ability to pass welder qualification tests, Tech Pub 248.

- Attention to detail is a must.

- Must be able to pass drug screening and background checks for Military work.

- High School education
